Here are some pics from earlier this year. We had a nice trip on our own to South Dakota / Wyoming in early June. It was my first time to Devil's Tower NM.

Mt. Hood from Timberline Lodge (June 2010). It was snowing when we pulled up to the lodge with our hiking group. Got the van & trailer stuck in the parking lot because the snow was so wet & slushy.

I really like that pic of half dome. I've never seen one from that angle and it really gives perspective of how it sticks out from the surrounding landscape.
